Thin Tins are minimalist crafting kits, delivered to your door every month or as a one-time purchase. Each Thin Tin is just a little bigger than many cell phones or about one-third of the size of a mass market paperback book.
The small size of Thin Tins also means less waste. We ship single-order Thin Tins in a small cardboard box that we hope you re-use and then recycle. The kit itself is self-contained with supplies and tools to complete multiple projects.
If you want to continue using the tools and create even more projects, we encourage you to restock thoughtfully with materials that also fit in the Thin Tin to keep it portable and reduce clutter.

With each Thin Tin, you can try a new craft and make something fun, useful, and unique.
Basic instructions are included in the tin, but more complex ideas are posted in our Guides (including videos) so you have the option to work 100% offline or mix screen time with craft time.
To help make the experience better for everyone, we encourage you to send us photos of your projects so we can post them in the Thin Tin Gallery to provide inspiration and ideas.
Thin Tins are for adults. They contain small objects that are a choking hazard for children, tools that are only safe if you use safety equipment (not included), and Thin Tins can be complex, especially for the adventurous crafter.

Every Thin Tin includes everything you need for multiple projects—supplies, step-by-step instructions, and handy tools—all packed into one compact kit. Thin Tins are designed to stay organized and close at hand, so you can enjoy a creative, productive break whenever you have a few free minutes (or more).
For example, the Micro Weaving Kit features a configurable loom with over 1,000 adjustable pin positions, plus yarn, thread, clippers, needles, spacers, and a tiny weaving comb. You can make a coaster, miniature blanket, or carpet—and hopefully much more.
Whether you’re in a waiting room, commuting (as a passenger!), or winding down before bed, Thin Tin helps you make the most of your time.
